    It's been a while since I've downloaded a mix from pachinko overdrive. But all I can say is that if it wasn't for it being 2a.m. in the morning this mix would have had me moving like James Brown....

    So, I totally love the first comment that Persons Unknown has left for this mix... That it would have made them move like James Brown, if not for the time of day they were listening to it! The single best compliment you could ever receive on a compilation of songs like this, I really do think so. Having it bring out the desire to move and shake like the Godfather of Soul himself :D I wish I could say the same, but for me, it would stay at "desire", because even after watching a video tutorial from the man himself, on how to replicate his dance moves...! I would, undoubtedly, never be able to. It's fun to imagine, though~ And to listen to the songs that inspire such imaginings, of course! The Temporary Club keeps swinging, and I continue to marvel at how effectively White Stripes songs can be reworked into something listenable and actually quite good, all depending on how they are remixed and transformed. I've said this once before, but like with many things I say...! I repeat it, because it needs to be~ Very much liked your Smoove and Osaka Monaurail selections this time around as well :) Really good! Thank you very much for compiling and sharing this, Percy~
